The next big company to announce its earnings is veteran Ubisoft and while the company is currently facing troubles with game development including delays and plans not going forward at a desirable pace, there is some good news.

UBisoft reported today its results for Q2 2023 (and with this the first half of the fiscal year 2023) €406.1 million, up 3.6% and added to the mix that the next 2 quarters left of the Fiscal Year will depend only on current launches including the recent Mario + Rabbids game.

But despite this, Ubisoft was positive on a metric that it also looks very well by investors and it is the Daily average revenue per paying user (DARPU).

The dARPU hero for half of the fiscal year was actually Rainbow Six Siege which now had passed 85 million unique players. The game sees a "very large" number of players every day, Ubisoft said. Not only are more and more people playing Siege, they're spending more, too.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is an online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft as a R6 Patriots sequel and while the game is not free to play, there have been countless opportunities to land a free access to the game including free weekend depending on the platform.
