DICE and Electronic Arts are still in the fight between popular first-person shooters and trying to have a better Year 2 for the game rather than the Year 1 that it got and this includes the multiplayer aspects of the game.

With New Dawn, Battlefield 2042 gains a new map called Reclam and it is based around an abandoned Czechia industrial facility that's being retaken by nature.

Also, Seasons 5 - New Dawn includes several new weapons, new gadgets, and some substantial quality-of-life improvements. That's all in addition to the new Season 5 battle pass content, too.
