We got some bad news from Bandai Namco and it is evident that Gundam Evolution didn’t live up to expectations after so much hype behind its launch as a free-to-play game and while it will reach on its first anniversary, that’s probably as much it.

In a surprising announcement, Bandai Namco confirmed that Gundam Evolution will be shut down by 29th November, a little later after the game’s launch anniversary with the honest explanation that the game has not lived up to expectations and goals.

Of course, the game is now playable and the official final season will then go live on 25th October, bringing a new unit and map with it.

As for the in-game currency,  sales and purchases of EVO Coins will end on 26th July. Any coins that players own will remain usable until the end of service, however the developer will not be providing any refunds for previously purchased coins.
