FromSoftware had a busy 3 year period with development of Elden Ring, surprising us with an advance development of the next Armored Core Game and Elden Ring first expansion, but unfortunately there are some roadblocks.

Yuka Kitamura, the composer who worked on Elden Ring,  Bloodborne, and more FromSoftware games, has announced on X, that she’s leaving the company.

There is no detail if her exit is just merely reaching new opportunities or something might just happened behind the scenes as the timing of her departure seems convenient with FromSoftware roadmap.

Kitamura started on FromSoftware in 2013 and she is credited on the score for Armored Core: Verdict Day, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Deracine, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice,  and Elden Ring.

There is a big chance that maybe Armored Core 6 will be also added to her resume but that remains a mystery yet.
