Love it or hate it, Battle Royale transcendent from a cancerous bad to a convenient and lovely lifestyle (for some..) and the trend on more unexpected games having their one flavor on the concept is growing and here goes Rocket League

Epic Games subsidiary Psyonix announced Knockout Bash, which is their equivalent for Battle Royal on Rocket League.

Knockout Bash will pit eight players in a free-for-all to be the last car driving and will feature the hallmarks of a typical battle royale mode: perma-death where players get three KOs before a game over and an encroaching danger zone with an ever-shrinking battle arena.

Along with the new mode, comes new mechanics and players will be able to grab opponents and throw them into hazards. Double jumps will now become triple jumps and will launch players higher, attacking cars will knock players away further, a well-timed block will fend off those attacks, and players will be able to dodge four times in the air before the ability resets.

All this will be coming on April 27th, but as promising as it reads, the mode is not a perpetual one and will be retired by May 10, but we shall see the demand to have Psyonix to leave the mode in a more permanent state.
