I haven’t tried the free-to-play Smite, despite that I am a member of EasternMediaGG and the core members are practically veterans of the game and also I acknowledge the fandom behind the game, and so the metal band Slipknot.

Being the fifth collaboration for Hi-Rez Studios, it was announced that Smite will have content related to Knotfest and the heavy metal band Slipknot, including all their members with the Mayan god Chaac powering Alessandro Venturella and Jim Root, Raijin powering Clown and Jay Weinberg and finally, Poseidon powering Corey Taylor and Craig Jones.

A few months ago during the Knotfest concert, Slipknot was already suggesting that something was coming up as Smite began playing on the stage’s monitors and early this week, Nintendo leaked the promotional banner.

The Slipknot X Smite will begin tomorrow May 11th after this week’s update.
