Finally Krafton can say that they do something at great scale beside PUBG and its mobile variant as the South Korean company's inner studio Striking Distance Studios, founded by Dead Space co-creator Glen Schofield, is ready to launch its first mayor game called The Callisto Protocol.

And it is a Dead Space-vibed game all right and  is set in 2320 at a prison colony called Black Iron, operated by the United Jupiter Company, and located on Jupiter's moon Callisto. The player takes the role of a prisoner Jacob Lee held at Black Iron, finding himself in the midst of an alien invasion that appears to have been engineered by the prison's warden.

Despite using Playstation's State Of Play to announce the gameplay and the December 2, 2022 release date, the game is not an PS4 and PS5 exclusive, but coming also to PC and Xbox One & Xbox Series S/X.
