Changes are coming and we are seeing big news once again from Blizzard Entertainment and definitely shifting in priorities are currently the latest to be put on the backseat, it is the MOBA Heroes Of The Storm.
Blizzard announced early this weekend that Heroes Of The Storm will not receive more new content and no more improvements are being worked on right now.
Ironically, the games just celebrated its 7th anniversary last month while making this announcement and while not specific reasoning why, with Overwatch 2 PvP in a few months and apparently more space available now for Diablo 4’s development, it shouldn't be hard to guess why in the first place.
The game will still be maintained to be functional and future patches will be for QA and bug fixing for those who play the game.
Heroes Of The Storm is a crossover multiplayer online battle arena that includes characters from Blizzard’s games including Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and Overwatch in a 5 team PvP match that was launched in 2015.
