It sucks that there is never a happy medium in the gaming industry nowadays and an upsetting behavior from Playstation Studios's Guerrilla Games still continues nowadays and Killzone fans, is not good news if you enjoy playing multiplayer online mode.

Guerrilla Games confirmed today that online multiplayers servers for Killzone: Mercenary, Killzone Shadow Fall and RIGS: Mechanized Combat League.

While it is bad that it is a trend, there might be some justification if the servers are costing money and practically is that the games are part of a niche of player and apparently is not enough to justify keeping it.

But I want to note that all Medal Of Honor's PS3 games are still online nowadays (via sharing Battlefield servers) and it is a big probability that Electronic Arts doesn have the money power that Guerrilla Games counts as being a Playstation Studios member.

The shutdown will occur on August 12 and in the case of Killzone Shadow Fall, it does include the Interceptor Mode.
