Next on gaming subscription providers to take turns to tell us what we can expect for August 2022 is Amazon with Prime Gaming, this includes all the free drops on many popular multiplayer games.
Games announced for August includes:
- Recompile: This atmospheric, Metroidvania-inspired hacking adventure lets you take control of a semi-sapient program struggling against deletion. In the sprawling 3D world of the Mainframe, Recompile features intense combat, tight 3D platforming, super-powered abilities and an environmental logic -based hacking mechanic.
The game was developed by Phigames and launched in August 2021. - Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders: a 1988 graphic adventure game by Lucasfilm Games. It was the second game to use the SCUMM engine, after Maniac Mansion. The project was led by David Fox, with Matthew Alan Kane as the co-designer and co-programmer.
- Starcraft Remastered: a remastered edition of the 1998 real-time strategy video game StarCraft and its expansion Brood War, which was released on August 14, 2017, developed by Blizzard Entertainment.
- Beasts of Maravilla Island: a 3D adventure game where you take on the role of a young wildlife photographer who traverses Maravilla Island's magical ecosystems to discover extraordinary creatures, learn their behaviors, and, most importantly, photograph their majesty! DEveloped by Banana Bird Studios
