While AMD is trying to push more in the iGPU and less dependent on external GPU, Intel is doing exactly the contrary with a proper first big foray in external GPU with its Arc branding and we are bound for what’s next.

Intel announced the next collection of ARC GPUs and are named A380, A580, A750, and A770.

Starting with the A380, this Arch GPU includes 6GB of GDDR6 memory, 2000MHz clock speed, and 8 processing cores and it is taken as the alternative for 1080p, while the  A580, with 24 processing cores, 8GB of VRAM, and a memory clock speed of 1700MHz probably will be for the 1440p realm.

The A750 probably going for the consumer side of 4K with 8GB of VRAM, 28 processing cores, and a clock speed of 2050MHz and finally for the 4K heavy duty is the A770 with up to 16GB of VRAM, 32 processing cores, and a clock speed of 2100MHz.

This foray of Intel in GPU land like never before has been a fragmented one with many incomplete announcements as with this one, because no release date was shared and neither a benchmark to have gamers considering them against AMD’s Radeon or Nvidia’s GeForce.
