Being a gaming event in their motherland, Capcom definitely have things to say on Tokyo Game Show and in this article, is everything related to the future of Resident Evil which actually, will have a proper show.
Reminder of Resident Evil Gold Edition
Capcom reminded us that the Gold Edition of REsident Evil Village will be live on October 28 for all the platforms the game is available including Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC and Stadia.
Included on Gold Edition is the Winters Expansion with a storyline called Shadow Of Rose, taking place 16 year after the events of the main story of Village as we got a growed up Rose Winters after dealing with a hard childhood and found herself at the Dimitrescu Castle in an alternate dimension, probably her mind playing games against herself.
Also, Resident Evil Village will win a 3rd person mode where you can use Ethan Winters in full body and finally Lady Dimitrescu, Chris Redfield and Karl Heisenberg join as the newest characters for The Mercenaries mini-game.
Resident Evil4 Remake for all
While confirming that we will get a Resident Evil Showcase in October 2022, Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 4 Remake continues on development and the game will not be entirely next-gen as a Playstation 4 version will also be launched on March 24, 2023.
