During the weekend I tried to avoid reports of apparent leaks of Grand Theft Auto 6 footage that appears to be results of progress in the next GTA game development. As you know, the Internet can be as fake as can be true.

But now we know that the leaks are facts.

RockStar Games have acknowledged knowing the leaks on the internet and said that the leaks are real and this was a product of a "network intrusion” aka a hacking.

Practically the footage was part of the data stolen from Rockstar Games and while it was not revealed what else the hackers took, game development and future plans are not disrupted yet the gaming studio called the event disappointing.

Indeed the weekend was a real busy one for both Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive as notably, social media receiving DMCA for every leaked footage being show and mainly, the subreddit of GTA6 was closed and the popular GTAForums were forced to take down thread showing the leaked videos.
