A surprising announcement made by Razer, tells us that portable gaming competition is getting hot again and probably with the help of Qualcomm and Android, more Nintendo Switch challengers are coming by.
Razer’s challenge goes to the name of Razer Edge 5G, a device that has Android and Qualcomm running respectively the software and hardware as a gaming alternative.
Specifically, the processor is the Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 and has 5G connectivity and that is where Verizon enters as a partner too as they device will be sold via their store and have their 5G connectivity provided by then.
I just hope that this is not N-Cage/AT&T all over again…
With that, there was an Xbox logo tease and probably is another Xbox Game Pass Cloud partner.
But this is pretty much that Tazer decided to announce after early this year showcasing the developer’s kit and now we got a reason to be on alert for RazeCon taking place on October 15 where we might learn more spec of the device and price which probably an agreement with Verizon could made it more accessible.
