Well, if you play stupid games, expect to win stupid prizes and there is already a buzz that the hacker behind Take-Two Interactive that mainly, resulted in the leak of footage of in-development Grand Theft Auto 6 and the emailing server of 2K Games was arrested.
The City of London Police tweeted that last night, they arrested a 17-old suspected of hacking.
While nothing is official and as rumored within the logic security community, he happens to be a member of the hacking group Lapsus$ (it was believed that it was its leader again but apparently is not) living in the Oxfordshire area.
The investigation that led to the arrests has to do not only with Take-Two Interactive, but Uber Technologies too and while it is expected that officials made some statement today, it was revealed that United States’s FBI was also investigating and explaining why Rockstar Games in particular, requested their intervention for the GTA 6 leaks.
