I guess that simulation games fans that were awaiting a proper answer to Sid Meier’s Civilization and heading to console with Sega and Amplitude Studios’s Humankind, should go to Xbox Game Pass PC or buy the game.

Sega confirmed today that the development of the console version of Humankind, specifically  PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X,have been pushed back until further notice “due to some unique challenges”.

And actually, the challenges are so bad that Sega is not only committing on a specific date, but also will offer refunds to those who had managed to pre order the game at the Playstation Store and the Microsoft Store (for Xbox consoles).

This indeed are bad news for those who wanted to try the game outside PC and no longer count with Stadia as a new platform (speaking of which, Sega hasn’t announced if Stadia’s progression can be transferred to PC) and added to the mix that the game already had its first anniversary and the first expansion, Together We Rule, is scheduled for release on PC on November 9.
