When it was like impossible that Netflix had anymisses since transforming from a DVD rental by mail service to one of the massive TV and movies content streaming services that had the whole entertainment industry running for their money, these are not pretty days for Netflix and 2022 marked more misses than hits.

The long short version of the story, Netflix missed so badly their earning goals, including a net loss of 200,000 from January to March and a projected loss of 2 million subscribers by end of the year all followed after the service justified a price increase on all its tiers and competition just got hotter.

Market reacted accordingly and a great dip of 35% of his stock value just went lost and Netflix already with the reaction firing executives, canceling and freezing in-development projects and carefully checking what could go for green light without problem.

Apparently, one of those projects that will probably have the “green light” is the gaming division and as per The Washington Post, the streaming company is doubling down on Netflix Games committing to over 50 games and some might end up having their own original show on Netflix.

If you don’t know for some reason, Netfli have begun licensing and even servicing as a publisher for Android games as part of this “Google Play/Apple Arcade” fever offered for free for subscribers on Android (where there is no middle door like Apple’s App Store) and can download games.

The most recent hit is having Riot Games launching the League Of Legends Spinoff Hextech Mayhem as an exclusive for the service.
