CD Projekt Red is on fire with many projects running and Cyberpunk 2077 gaining and maintaining traction, all this after the successful launch of the anime series spinoff Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and fixing the game's notorious bugs.

Things continue rolling as CD Projekt Red is preparing the first and unfortunately only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 called Phantom Liberty but of course, a Patch along the way and the game gaining Patch 1.61.

While the list of improvements is already published on the official website, the focus of this patch is the adoption of AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 and optimization will be applied by default, no need for users to waste time.

Also, an issue where a frame-rate drop occurs after exiting a menu while playing the game, was fixed.

Finally Cross Progression from Xbox One environment can be transferred to PC and Playstation.

The Patch 1.61 reportedly weighed around 1.2GB to 1.5GB depending on the platform as is available to Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/, PC and Stadia (yes, CD Projekt Red remained committed to gamers from Google’s Cloud Gaming platform and helping with transitioning to other platform which obviously needs to be either PC or next-gen consoles)
