It was in less than a week that id Software parent company, Bethesda, finally responded to the recent call out by musician Mick Gordon and what led to a disastrous DOOM Eternal OST release and tell their side of the story.

As you might remember, DOOM Eternal OST arrived late as part of the Collector’s Edition of DOOM Eternal which was far below any standard and OBVIOUSLY no on part with DOOM (2016) OST in which Mick Gordon needed to address that he was not involved in the final stages of production and did not approved the release.

Last week, and after a year after the events, Gordon elaborated on how was treated by id Software and Game Director Marty Stratton disregarding his suggestion and making plans with a non-ideal timeline and goals.

While it is undeniable that the subreddit of DOOM actually got some heat from fans, Mick Gordon stated that his intention was never to be an instigator of hate against id Software but, exercising his right to defend himself after rejecting “hush money” from Bethesda.
