If Netflix and it's gaming subsidiary Netflix Games wanted to start the year 2023 with a bang in their quest to disrupt mobile gaming on Android and iOS, they done it in my opinion as the company bought the rights for publishing the mobile version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.

Netflix announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is available on Android and iOS but of course, requires you to have a Netflix subscription to be able to play it as part of their latest new game on the Netflix Games collection.

I haven’t tested the game but reading early reviews in the internet, it appears that the gameplay and graphics quality are on par with consoles/PC and what a great opportunity for those who already have Netflix account but have resisted a Xbox Game Pass subscription (where the game is part of the game collection as of the writing of this).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is a beat 'em up game developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, where sees the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fighting with a reformed Foot Clan along with Master Splinter, April O’Neil and Casey Jones as playable character for the first time.

The game design is inspired and based on the original 80’s and early 90’s cartoon with the style of the arcade games once produced by Konami and also, the game features most of the original voice cast.

Besides Shredder’s Revenge, Kentucky Route Zero and Twelve Minutes are also the latest entrants of the Netflix Games collection.
