The development of Cyberpunk 2077 continues and this probably will not necessarily or directly have to do with the expansion Phantom Liberty, but it will be nice to have more graphical improvement at the height of just having a RTX GeForce ready with DLSS3.

CD Projekt Red announced that has released an update for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077, which its main purpose is to add support for Nvidia’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) upscaling technology in his 3rd generation DLSS3, available in the RTX GeForce 40 family of GPU.

Nvidia DLSS uses AI and GeForce RTX Tensor Cores to boost frame rates while maintaining great image quality. In October, Nvidia released DLSS 3, adding new Frame Generation technology that enables DLSS performance boosts of up to 4X over native rendering.

For the case scenario for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red expect that this is the framework for the support of its Overdrive mode for the game announced early this year, which, will improve the game's visuals, with better indirect lighting and reflections and more, beyond the Ultra Settings.

CD Projekt Red notified users that have bought the game via their proprietary game store, GOG, that the GOG Galaxy launcher needs to be updated before getting notified of the new Cyberpunk 2077 update.
