Without much signal of life, a big mid July’s surprise by Xbox Game Studios’s 343 Industries with the launch of the BETA of Halo Infinite campaign co-op mode, one of the promises that are left for Halo Infinite in general.
It was more or less 3 months ago that 343 Industries confirmed to be focusing on the Halo Infinite campaign co-op BETA while leaving a known partner for the new modes of the multiplayer.
With that, finally the BETA kicked in and in a recap, the Campaign co-op mode or the mode that you can have another player helping you grind through Halo Infinite's main story aiming on August the full stable version launch.
The good news is that you can be either onXbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC, there will be crossplay capabilities and you can have other players from any other of the mentioned platforms with you.
The bad news is that any progress you’ve made in the BETA will carry over when the co-op mode becomes stable and this includes stats and collectibles.
Originally, 343 Industries was aiming for an August launch of the stable version but now, the Beta testing will end on August 1st at 1PM ET, which leaves little space to compile all feedback and findings in a 30 days timeline and you should not be surprised that the stable release is again TBD.
