This time in the newest edition of “binding the no rumors rules” (and it is because of the plausibility of this), Meta Platforms, Facebook and Oculus parent company aims to do something drastic to answer subscriptions like Xbox Live Gold & PS Plus for Oculus Quest.

And it is actually a subscription of their own.

Via Twitter, users @ShinyQuagsire and @Basti564 claim to have seen evidence that Meta and Oculus are working on Quest game subscription as respectively, both got code references on both Oculus Android and iOS client.

Oculus seems to be working on Project Apollo and its product will see Meta going after Microsoft and Sony’s approach on gaming subscription with Oculus.

"Get up to two new apps or games every month with [Project Apollo].

Log in each month to redeem your apps, and grow your library with the most exciting VR titles.

Redeem your apps by the end of the month, and keep your apps as long as you are subscribed.”

Without counting the PSVR 2 but the fact that Microsoft has no interested on Xbox crossing the virtual reality realm, basically Oculus is the leader on VR gaming with PC and pretty much a small competition from HTC Vive has not made any dent on their market share and now with Project Apollo, they are looking to further capitalize.
