Video games that serve to expand and co-promote a movie is nothing new and there always is a chance to come by with an announcement, but the thing is that it has been a while since a new game has gained traction like Rebel Moon.
In a participation in the The Nerd Queen Podcast, Zack Snyder confirmed that not only his Netflix movie Rebel Moon will debut on the streaming network by December 22, but it will have a role-playing game launched soon.
For Snyder, the project is a long desire that he had so we should not expect this game to be a mere co-promoting tool and will be an immersive experience as he is directly involved in the development.
It is taken that the game is in pre-production as the filmmaker was insisting on being on a dump of ideas, so don’t expect any platform announcement or a trailer soon.
It was asserted also that the game will offer “a completely realized universe and it’s really going to be fun” but then, Zack Snyder cut the topic as he acknowledged that he was not supposed to be giving out details.
About the movie, Rebel Moon synopsis reads as follows:
“When a colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand.”
