Let’s get real, there are sometimes that you need to bend or circumvent a few things in life and if it is legal” and no direct harm is done, then why not? Right? Well for this case I am referring to the introductory offering of Xbox Game Pass for a whole month for just $1.

Microsoft confirmed The Verge reports that Microsoft was already in plans to stop offering the $1 month of Xbox Game Pass for first timers.

“We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future.”

It is known that Microsoft is testing in some markets its Friends & Family plan for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which allows a Microsoft account to hold up to 4 friends/family to be part of a single Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

AND…. It is publicly known that some gamers have taken the advantage for years on creating a new email to take advantage of being counted as “a first timer” and basically have a Xbox Game Pass subscription costing just $12 per year.

Of course, Microsoft is trying to build up some more revenues as they have more possibilities of being allowed to buy Activision Blizzard for a hefty $69 billion payout and engaging to have more developers and publishers to have their game available for subscribers.
