Unfortunately, delayed games is not a strange thing and more unfortunate, those days where the pandemic still insists on not going away, it will keep disrupting in a bad way the gaming industry in general.
Unfortunately, it was time for Take-Two Interactive to say how the past quarter went and the biggest news is their turn at making a Marvel Comics game and the first ever official video game of Midnight Suns is the one that we are expecting.
Take-Two confirmed that it was forced to delay the game to somewhere on 2023 or no specific date after development hit some roadblocks, becoming the second delay of the game after missing the March 2022 launch date.
The publisher confirmed that development studio, Firaxis Games, have been trying to adapt in a work-from-home environment and could not make a proper and steady game by November.
Probably the same story is with Arc Raiders, being developed by Embark Studios and supposed to launch this year, was also delayed.
While not telling why, they announced on Twitter that they will be indefinitely delaying the game (no release date/year) as they found the need to properly fine tune some aspects of their debut game.
Embark Studios was founded on 2018 by Patrick Soderlund, the ex Chief Designer Officer of Electronic Arts and beside Arc Raiders, they are also working on Project Discovery, which its final product will be an a team-based first-person shooter and was slated to be the studio's second games, but appears that it probably be the first official release.
