Seems that the bad news in the corporate side of things of Halo, Xbox Game Studio and 343 Industries continues and it is Monday, a somewhat known day to share not so good news and this has to do with another exit at 343 Industries.

Windows Central manages to see the LinkedIn profile of Halo Infinite Director, Frank O’Connor, with an ending month on his role at 343 Industries.

While Frank O’Connor has not publicly acknowledged his exit from Xbox Game Studio, he is already working on another studio as franchise creative director, without including what company actually is.

Frank O’Conner career started publicly in 2004 after joining as a writer and community manager at Bungie until the studio split from Microsoft in which he decided to join as part of the original team of 343 Industries who were founded to continue developing Halo games.

There have been a lot of rumors going around Halo and including with a key staff member exiting 343 Industries, a major rumor has that the next Halo game will be the first one developed with Unreal Engine 5 instead of in-house engines.
