Another gaming company took its turn to share their quarterly financial results and it is the japanese veteran Capcom, which boasted on being for a sixth consecutive year in gaming sales positive.

Capcom announced its Fiscal Year 2023 results and closed it with an equivalent of $936,233,763 in revenue with $37,776,470 on operating income.

In terms of sales, Capcom reported selling over 47.1 million games globally during the last fiscal year, breaking off its previous record of 32.6 million copies. 

And this means that it has crossed its set record of the most games sold in a business year, acknowledging that this was thanks to the thriving sales of the Resident Evil 4 remake, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and many other titles in the previous fiscal year. 

Resident Evil 4 moved over 3.7 million units as of March 31. On the other hand, Resident Evil Village reportedly sold 7.9 million copies. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak stands at a substantial 5.5 million number, while the base game currently stands at 12.7 million units sold.

Aside from more positive numbers in terms of money, Capcom forecast to be able to sell over 45 million copies for its current fiscal year, but looking to reach the 100 million mark.
