An unusual early First round of the E3-less E3 for this year 2023 and Sony started engines with current and future games project landing for Playstation and this is a recap of the Playstation Showcase, but be warned, NOT every announced game is a Playstation 5 or PSVR 2 exclusive!
- Haven Studio first game is Fairgame$
Jade Raymond made news a while back beginning with her stint on EA and Ubisoft, being unfairly and unceremoniously dismissed as Stadia Games & Entertainment VP to finally proving Google and Phil Harrison wrong in founding her own studio with many Stadia’s developers alumni Haven Studios to finally,. Being bought by Sony as a Playstation Studios member.
The game that practically convinced Sony to buy the studio is Fairgame$. - Bungie had two things to say
As it was expected this year, Bungie was due to present to the world its first IP since Halo and Destiny and while Marathon is not technically a new IP, it was indeed in queue for a worthy remake.
Marathon is completely based on the origins Macintosh game series of the 90’s (when Bungie only made Macintosh centric games) and made the game from scratch and it will be a sci-fi PvP extraction shooter where players will “compete for survival, riches, and renown in a world of evolving, persistent zones, where any run can lead to greatness”.
Second and has to do with Destiny 2, as Bungie retracted on saying that the game we now known as Marathon would have meant a pause in creating content/expansion for Destiny 2, we are still bound for The Final Shape expansion and we got the surprise of the reappearance of Exo Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6 but, remains to see if he was reconstructed ort it was just Ikora’s illusion. - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be remade as Metal Gear Solid Δ Snake Eater

Before the Spider-man 2 presentation, PlayStation CEOJim Ryanannounced two new pieces of technology that Sony is working on. One is called Project Q and is a portable gaming device that players can stream games from a WiFi environment, but I have been reading that it is not exactly a Cloud Gaming device, hope that in a future update it does become one.
It features an 8-inch screen, Wi-Fi support, and all of the DualSense controller’s buttons and features, and it will release later this year.
