Xbox Game Studios and 343 Industries are gearing up for the next chapter in the multiplayer history of Halo Infinite and with this an important addition to have more engagement from players and not limiting for season pass.

Via a Halo Waypoint entry to prepare Halo Infinite players, 343 Industry announced a Career Rank, a new way for players to track their progress across all modes, as part of the novelties with season 4, starting on June 20th.

Worry not, as 343 Industries claims that the system will not have many changes from Halo Reach and Master Chief Collection and basically the mechanics is to play.

Players starts as Recruits and work their way through six different ‘Tiers’ that are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Onyx, before reaching the final title Hero and each tier is split into military-style ‘Ranks’, which are each split into smaller increments called ‘Grades’.

Players’ ranks will be visible during match intros, on player profiles and during the Post-Game Carnage Report.

Season 4: Infection will also include 3 new maps, one remains unnamed and the other two are Forest and a Forged version of Plaza (Halo 5: Guardians), along with the return of the multiplayer mode called Infection.

Infection Mode is basically Halo’s answer to Call Of Duty Zombies but with teams, where there is one team infected as zombies and the other team needs to prevent being infected and avoid as many survivors as possible.
