We were warned that Xbox & Bethesda Showcase Extended was not an event focused on surprises and while it did have a new minor announcement, a post-event interview with Bethesda's leader really got fans happy.

Speaking with IGN, Bethesda's Todd Howard revealed that these will be busy years for the 1st party studios that Bethesda houses and Starfield is just the beginning.

“Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production. And, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate’s pretty full going forward for a while.”

Besides its major 2 franchises, Bethesda's Tango Gameworks is working on a horror game and Machine Games has 3 games in development and finally, Arkane is already planning his next title.

The Elder Scrolls VI in particular was already teased back in 2018 and not much has been shared, obviously with the focus on Starfield these days, but it is good that we can talk about Bethesda for years to come.
