We already know that the success of the sequel of the Sonic The Hedgehog movie brought not only Knuckles in a  live movie, but motivating both Sega and Paramount to green light a Knuckles TV series which have news today.

Sources of Deadline claim that the Knuckles The Echidna TV Series now has actors Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel.

At this time Paramount is keeping details of each character that they will be acting in high secret.

They will join Adam Pally, Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, and guest stars Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter.

Adam Pally and Tika Sumpter are respectively reprising the Wade Whipple and Maddie characters while Idris Elba will reprise his voice role of Knuckles.

Knuckles takes place after the second Sonic movie (and before the announced third one) and follows Knuckles as he “agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior”.
