Gaming and geek stuff have been a resonance within the catalog of original Netflix TV series and movies with Castlevania being one of the most known ones and it is time again to watch new content based on the classical Konami gaming franchise.

Netflix presented the first trailer of Castlevania: Nocturne and it is officially the direct sequel of the 4 seasons Netflix Castlevania anime series co-developed by Powerhouse Animation.

In Castlevania: Nocturne, we will have Richter Belmont, a descendent of the vampire slayer Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades, living during the height of the French Revolution were he struggles with the trauma of witnessing the death of his mother (already a vampire) meanwhile, he is recruited by a mysterious woman called Annette, to aid French resistance movement in Western France.

It was revealed that Maria Renard, a character who first appeared in Rondo of Blood, will also be featured on the show.

Castlevania: Nocturne will premiere on Netflix by September 28.
