It has been quite a battle that Twitch had with the dark world within it’s network, with people believing it is ok to just harass other gamers and streamers just for the pleasure or are against a narrative.

With that in mind, Twitch has announced plans to roll out improved reporting tools, simplifying the process by which streamers and viewers can report content and includes a search function so users can find the specific reason for their report and a suite of menus for the type of content getting flagged.

The updated reporting tools will hit the web first, with the mobile rollout happening at an unspecified later date.

Another update it’s an overhaul on their appeal process for DMCA strike that offers more information and transparency than their previous attempt, which was one of the most hated things about users that were practically blind on appealing a DMCA strike.

There is still a window of 60 days that you can submit your appeal whenever a strike goes to your channel and all can be done at https://appeals.twitch.tv/.
