Before confirming that Metroid Dread was not the potential Metroid Prime 4, there was a rumor that for the first time, Nintendo delegated the development to Bandai Namco and that appeared to be not the case too.
Today, a new rumor rekindles the potential relationship (remembering Pokken Tournament) with both japanese gaming veterans as some job postings by Bandai Namco make a direct reference.
The posting particularly is requesting the service of a planner, visual artist and a graphical designer capable of restoring and improving 3D graphics and this one in particular mentions a Nintendo 3DS game.
Speculating what game could be next for Nintendo Switch coming from the Nintendo 3DS is difficult right now, so I want to invite you to comment, what are your expectations
Nintendo will change HQ
While Bandai Namco is not the only Nintendo, the house of Super Mario announced this week that it bought land beside their current HQ in Japan to begin constructing its new Research & Development office.
Practically the current R&D offices need to grow and Nintendo found the opportunity to build what will temporarily be called “Corporate Headquarters Development Center, Building No. 2” and the target completion year is programmed by 2027.
The 107,946-square-foot site previously hosted a Foundation Support Factory and Disaster Prevention Center.
