Heading to the start of his year 2 and a rocky launch while being mostly on Xbox Game Pass, it was difficult not to let unnoticed some kinks at release day, yet People Can Fly and Square Enix has given green light to his first expansion Worldslayer.
In Worldslayer, we are facing a new menace of what remains of humanity with the arrival of Ereshkigal, a new Altered leader engaged in being the most menacing threat yet.
While the new expansion has an extra lore, PCF really did something that most gaming studios are not doing is to engage new players by VISITING Year 1 content completely and not just “introductory” parts.
Besides new mission, enemies and new environments, Worldslayer will bring also:
- New gear (including 100 legendary items)
- New PAX class trees
- New ascension system
- New apocalypse system & third mod slot
- New endgame
About the endgame, it is called Trial of Tarya Gratar and PCF claims it is something completely new even for experienced gamers.
NOTE FOR XBOX GAME PASS & STADIA USER
While Outriders remains part of Xbox Game Pass games collection, Worldslayer expansion will not and it is required to be purchased and goes the same for Stadia, but good news is that Google confirmed that Outriders will be Stadia Pro beginning May and will help with the cost of the expansion.
This is the good thing about having choices.
