As a Cloud Gaming fan, I always noticed the latency that either on Mobile or PC, playing Xbox games via Xbox Game Pass Cloud is NOT a great feature when Microsoft can leap forward from Google Stadia.

In a presentation aimed for game developers, Microsoft highlighted some needed improvement on his Cloud Gaming offering of Xbox Game Pass Cloud.

It is evident that Xbox app entry to new devices and starting this year on Samsung LEDs that support Samsung Gaming, are a need and developers are getting invited to apply recent improvement to keyboard and mouse support as they are more accessible to be added to a game regardless of its genre or thematic.

Full support will be available this very summer, including on Xbox Game Pass Cloud and its variants.

Clearly, Microsoft wants to improve the collection of games that can have both wired and wireless keyboards and mouse seamless for gamers, which is low these days.

One big issue for me as a player is the latency for key/button press and the reaction of my character and with that, Microsoft also confirmed working on the latency.

Talking about latency but this time for visual and Microsoft announced that its new Display Details API, can improve latency time up to 72ms of improvements.

In testing, Microsoft was able to improve from a 8-72m latency to a more appropriate 2-12ms frame rate response on a 1440p display, but unfortunately, this test does not include support for Dynamic resolution or HDR but it is just a matter of time.
