Regardless Elden Ring is here and already aiming to be a great contender to be a Game Of The Year 2023 winner, FromSoftware has NOT limited on development, patching and maintenance of the game.
Responding to rumors in a local gaming site interview, FromSoftware leader Hidetaka Miyazaki, confirmed that the studio responsible for the Dark Souls, Sekiro Shadow Die Twice and Elden Ring have been really busy post Elden Ring launch.
This includes a series of job postings as the studio is working on several projects, including their next big game that is at the final phase of development.
Which means that we already have a reason to expect a big announcement in 2023.
Without directly acknowledging if these are the details for the next game or not, Miyazaki said that he is involved in a project that is "more abstract fantasy" than other games launched and how he has come up with a lot of ideas and images that don't fit their current catalog of games.
Finally and following the examples of Capcom and Bandai Namco, FromSoftware is working on improving the compensation and treatment of its employees, and that they plan to increase the salaries of young to mid-career employees as well, thanks to metrics improvements for FromSoftware as a company.
