Meet The Polium One, a gaming console that is not aiming to be the next Ouya (console based on Android), but the first (and probably last) Web 3 gaming console that plans to be on the market by 2024.

The project is being developed by the team of Polium, a Web 3 NFT Blockchain company and admittedly composed of four people and claims that the console will be powerful enough to run high-performance games and will be easy to use for a traditional gamer who doesn’t understand Web 3.

A quick note, Web 3 is the consensus of a probably next generation of World Wide Web, where the Internet will be composed of a decentralized network via blockchains and tokenized security, but nowadays, early concepts are practically dominated by cryptocurrency and NFTs.

Apparently, the purpose of the Polium One game console is the capacity of playing games installed on mul;tiple blockchain, which probably will be a first for a study case for Cloud Computing, but pretty much nothing else was shared.

What the team has been dealing is a lot of doubts and criticism that the company called it FUD (Fear, Uncertentain, Doubt), and promised that there will be no preorder (which will be at the cost of buying a official NFT which will be based on Ethereum and only 10,000 will be on existence) or funding until the prototype gets ready and presented, hopefully with a recognized Youtuber as answer and trust appeal.

But honestly….

They started with the wrong foot with the logo and the obvious similarities to Nintendo Gamecube's logo, in which Polium claims that will change when they get a graphic artist that could offer them an original looking new logo.

Indeed I want to read what you think!
