We know that days are difficult at Ubisoft, the studio known for Tom Clancy’s branded games and classics like Assassin’s Creed and other IPs. But there are times that companies need to address rare, strange and/or untrue rumors.

And hence why I don't cover immediate rumors anymore.

The short version, a rumor that started on the weekend suggested that Ubisoft would announce an early EOL of Roller Champions after Season 3 due the lack of support of the game from player regardless of being a free-to-play and crossplay with cross progression and Stadia added as an additional platform in Season 3 precisely.

But apparently it became so strong that Ubisoft needed to make the clarification that the rumor is false and not only that, they are doubling down on Disco Fever and patching the invitation and lobbies setups to include cross invitation and with this mitigate the long waiting periods of matchmaking.

Roller Champions is one of many free-to-play that Ubisoft have been developing for some time and is a 3v3 competitive multiplayer sports game played from a third-person perspective available already on PlayStation 4,Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch, PC with a Stadia version coming on Season 3.
