Despite the nostalgia frenzy that gaming industry is trying to capitalize on, there are certain franchises that for some reason, are not taking part in this live and two of these are Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts.
Wild Arms's team lead designer Akifumi Kaneko and composer Michiko Naruki with Shadow Hearts's character designer Miyako Kato, Yoshitaka Hirota and Capcom composer Akari Kaida all have joined forces to bring to life two new original games called Armed Fantasy and Pennyblood.
Armed Fantasia is set in a futuristic take on the Old West and Penny Blood is a historical horror game, both being the latest Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign regarding gaming, labeled a double Kickstarter as it aims to have a goal of $721,578 in a month.
Both games are slated to be released in Spring 2025 and while the goal is to have the game being launched for PC officially and if the campaign still attracts backers beyond the goal, a release on console can be added to the roadmap.
As of the writing of this, the campaign has already passed the $250,000 mark, pretty much the possibility on reaching goal looks good.
UPDATE
After 24 hours and 30 DAYS TO GO, the Kickstarter is already a succes and as of this update, the goal is at $851,125 of $721,606 and with this, practically a Console version of both game are now a reality!
