so, leaving work and still pissed here i am bitching about it; I work as an unloader, for context. i dipped out of a trailer that i finished and had to wait on another one to dock. standing by w/ coworker, he goes “Just waiting on 24 (dock number) and 23 to switch then we can get back to work.” 24 is shut and ready to go. 23 is wide open, and the empty semi trailer on it jostles w/ the Tractor connecting to it. I jack sparrow run over to the open door, move some bags full of envelopes out of the way, and drop the door. In doing so; I spare driver and absent supervisor some shit from higher up the chain and ensure safe work environment by closing the door. Literally corporate protocol. What do i hear next? Someone in the front office is complaining about it. Apparently the unloader isnt supposed to do shit aside from unload, safety standards be damned.

tldr: Stuck my neck out only to get griped at by shithead boss.

In a belated but not surprising move from Twitch, Amazon's streaming subsidiary published a new anti-misinformation policy and will now be more vigilant against users spreading false or exaggerated information.

Twitch says the platform itself hasn't had the problems of big social networks, but they do recognize the harm of people consistently posting false or unverified information.

The company does not believe that this policy affects massively since problems with people misinforming have remained low on these sides, but prevention is better.

En una tardía pero no sorpresiva movilidad de Twitch, la subsidiaria de streaming de Amazon publicó una nueva política anti desinformación y por el cual estarán ahora más pendiente a usuarios diseminando información falsa o exagerada.

Twitch indica que de por sí, la plataforma no ha tenido los problemas de las redes sociales grandes, pero reconocen el daño de que personas consistentemente emiten informaciones falsas o no verificadas con datos.

La empresa no cree que esta política afecta masivamente ya que problemas de gente desinformando se ha mantenido bajo en estos lados, pero mejor la prevención.

Sigue el internet heredando cosas originales de Reddit y ya sabemos que Twitter es la más reciente red social que estaría estableciendo upvotes/downvotes o catalogar un tuít bueno y malo y saben lo que esto puede repercutir para dueños de contenidos.

Lamentablemente la red social del pájaro azúl ha seguido adelante con sus planes y aunque las capacidades siguen en prueba, la misma ahora ha sido expandida a más mercados fuera de un selecto grupo que comenzó a probar desde ayer y hacer entrar a más usuarios.

Así que como dueños de contenidos, estamos expuestos nuevamente a los malintencionados.
