Imagine a day that you can actually expose that toxic streamer that has been doing bad things and seems that nobody is doing anything about it and that a clip CAN BE USED AS LEGIT AND IRREFUTABLE evidence.
Well, Twitch will soon make this imagination a reality as Twitch’s VP of Trust & Safety Department, Angela Hession, confirmed to The Washington Post that the streaming network is working on an infraction system where Twitch itself will produce a clip with evidence of any wrongdoing from streamers that gets banned or flagged.
DEspite that this is sound nice for streamers known to be a piece of trash in the Internet, there are also legit streamers that get flagged for unknown reason and limited to only appeal at the mercy of Twitch’s moderation team that usually, does not interact directly with streamers.
The soon-to-be-launch feature will serve as a proper way for streamers to know what they did wrong, regardless if it is on purpose, an accident or simply rookie mistakes.
Twitch has been for the past months looking for ways to improve its communications regarding streamers behavior and how to control when a ban is legit or not, and how to educate a streamer to be a better human being.
