Elon Musk has been resonating more than usual due OBVIOUS REASONS, but prior to that, it was with one of the companies that he is a CEO and I am referring to Tesla and while you might ask why I am bringing car in a gaming blog, it actually has to do with gaming.

Tesla confirmed that the newest update for the firmware of Tesla cars will include a fully functional Steam environment and no they seem that they are not kidding.

Called “Holiday Update '' for 2022.44.25, Tesla Model S and X will gain UI changes, Apple Music official support and the Tesla ARcade, in which a Beta version of the Steam client will also be included.

The Holiday Update containing Steam on Beta applies to models manufactured back as of 2020.

While it should not be surprising that Steam can be installable on other software and evidently, this is due Tesla firmware being based on Linux, what does surprise me is that this has not called the attention of the U.S. Department of Transportation, a federal agency that has raised flags on infotainment that can be a distraction on the road, but actually gaming on the road has been a thing for decades.
