While we are awaiting for a proper response to Nvidia failing to make sense in their Lovelace offerings, AMD basically has covered things in GPU needs for gaming laptops and a new member for the RDNA3 family will arrive in some next Gaming Laptop.

AMD announced the RX 7600M XT has 32 teraflops of performance paired with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The Radeon RX 7600M XT has 28 teraflops of performance with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. Both discrete GPUs are built on the RDNA 3 architecture and a 6nm process and will support AV1 encode and decode.

All this means that the RX 7600M XT should be on par with RTX GeForce 3060’s offering in terms of displaying AAA games above the 100fps for 1080P and also, it is adequate for content creators using it for live streaming without hassle.

AMD’s promises of RTX 3060 desktop performance in a laptop.

Of course, this is the in-house benchmark for many popular and demanding games, but you should wait for independent benchmarking before deciding on going on Gaming Laptop with this GPU.

The first collection of laptops with the RX Radeon 7600M XT are expected to ship starting next month.
