Games like Dead Cells are those that you need to keep being a success as roguelike is really saving the industry to be a perpetual first-person shooter and/or Battle Royale fest in every corner of the world.
But launched in 2017 (as Early Access), one might think that we cannot expect anything else from the developer Motion Twin, but we were wrong.
Motion Twin surprisingly announced on Dead Cells's Steam page that the game gained a new roadmap that includes a rebalancing update in this very summer called Panchaku & More, on Fall 2022 a Boss Rush update that will let you battle directly with boss and I assume that will have like a scoreboard and finally "It's a Surprise" as a End of 2022 update that still does not have some tips on what could be in store.
Also there is a note that there is something stored in 2023 but it was warned that the 2023 time frame can be used for anything that could get delayed and maybe I can speculate that we might be seeing a new expansion or the sequel of the game.
