Once again, Ubisoft is the source of bad news and this is in the follow up of the troubles that the company started in 2023 after holiday sales were lower than expected and included game development cancellation.

Is no secret that one of the problems that might get Ubisoft with employees accepting a vote of strike is actually the pipeline that includes various games.

One of them was Project Q and this was the first game that resounded to be one of the “three unannounced games'' that were canceled in response to the shift of focus for 2023.

Unfortunately, Ubisfot confirmed to VGC that in fact, Project Q is one of the games that were canceled.

“We can confirm we will no longer support the development of Project Q in order to focus on priority projects, to which our teams are being reallocated.”

The game’s purpose and loire was never shared and what was known before the cancellation is that Project Q (probably a tentative name) was slated to be a PvP 6 player team which can be described as a Overwatch with Fortnite mechanics and have multiple challenges or PvP modes.

Over 9 months ago, Ubisoft was forced to acknowledge the game’s development after leaks were non-stop and back then promised to share more detail in the middle of massive free to play games that were in development.
