It is true that WWE have implicitly embraced the gaming community via their quietly backed up gaming channel UpUPDownDown of Austin Creed (Xavier Woods). But ironically, its first non-WWE gaming collaboration with the industry came in the form of Thea Triniidad (Zelina Vega).

This past weekend, the opening of Wrestlemania season and Saturday’s Royal Rumble served for WWE and Capcom to announce a collaboration where Street Fighter 6 will gain Thea Trinidad as an in-game guest commentator for the online features that the game will bring, focused on esport and social networking.

To accentuate the hype, Trinidad on her Zelina Vega character, entered as the 21st participant of 2023 Royal Rumble dressed as Juri and of course, she delivered some of Juri’s known moves.

Trinidad is joining a roster of guest commentators, including esports commentary veterans, competitive Street Fighter players, and celebrity Street Fighter fans for Street Fighter 6, where players can select during matches.
