Good news coming from days of hearing about the gaming cancellation outbreak that kickstarted February and fans of F1 racing games from Codemasters and now Electronic Arts have some good news from EA Sport.
Electronic Arts and Codemaster announced that Max Verstappen of Oracle Red Bull Racing driver will collaborate with EA Sports to create content across its portfolio and of course, this includes direct sponsorship from EA Sport for Verstappen.
Practically, Max Verstappen could easily be the face of the F1 game which Electronic Arts gained with the purchase of Codemasters and as of the writing of this, could last until the official license expires in 2025, mind you that the agreement has an option for expansion until 2027.
I guess that Electronic Arts needs more sports personality for its catalog of games as probably this is an indirect response of FIFA not renewing EA Sport partnership beyond EA FIFA 23 and MAdden NFL already not being a sole exclusive NFL game maker (EA Sport still own the rights for real-life simulation of the league).
