This might not mean “trouble in paradise” but you can be a veteran but when you had enough IS that you had enough and legendary japanese game director Shinji Mikami have left Xbox Game Studio.

Tango Gameworks was founded in 2010 by Shinji Mikami after his career on Capcom and then, was bought by Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Studios the same year and you could say that it was a nice relationship, until Microsoft.

A statement is written on a black background. It reads: "We can confirm that Shinji Mikami has decided to leave Tango Gameworks in the coming months. We thank him for his work as a creative leader and supportive mentor to young developers of The Evil Within franchise, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and, of course, Hi-Fi RUSH. We wish Mikami-san well in the future and are excited by what lies ahead for the talented developers at Tango."

Bethesda confirmed that Shinji Mikami did leave Tango Gameworks, one of its inner studios and member of the whole Xbox Game Studio, following reports from early morning that Mikami and one big speculation is that there are probably creative differences with upper management of Xbox Game Studio.

I can agree that disagreements as a main motivation with the releases of Ghostwire: Tokyo and Hi-Fi Rush, this one just a few weeks ago.

It is up to Shinji Mikami to reveal (if he wants to) what happened or why he decided to leave.
